No thanks to the recent storms that have left the Philippines in a practical water world, milkfish (or bangus) prices have fallen steeply to save what they can from their investment. Would you believe the usual price per kg of P90 ($2) is now only P30 ($0.60)? That is how desperate and frantic local fishpond owners are right now to save what they can from the Typhoons that have torn the Philippines apart. Other fishpond owners helplessly watched claiming that their lives are more important right now rather than their bangus stock.
