As the number of Southern Blue Fin Tuna continues to reach critical levels, a major international meeting has called for fishing communities to follow a certain quota for their catch. Australia for one, has been forced to cut its Blue Fin tuna catch by 30% which as you would expect is drawing varied reactions, stating that it may take fishing groups some time to adjust to the new quota. Well, it is either this or say goodbye to this valuable fish which has been a great source of income for the fishing companies.
