If you want a good spot to fish down in Jackson County, you may want to check out the Lost Lake Creek once again. The Jackson County fishing spot has re-opened and is now accepting fishers for their recreational and fishing needs after a month of closure due to blue-green algae. The local public health officials cleared the Lost Lake Creek after tests revealed that the waters were cleared of the said toxins. The Lost Lake Creek was shut down last September 18.

Here is something useful for the fishermen out there. One thing you fail to realize would be the logistics, though not many people would really care how deep or how technology can aid them in their fishing expeditions. Regardless, the Rapala Lighted Line Counter
should be ideal for the modern people who want to apply some tech into their fishing adventures. The Rapada Light Liner Counter measures each foot of line that passes through it and comes with an automatic line release. It comes with a tension knob and lighted display that should help fishing activities easier.

Unless something drastic comes up on the proper preservation of tuna and fish stocks in the seas, we may soon suffer a shortage of sorts. That is if we don’t wise up and learn the ropes on how to re-breed them. Bluefin Tuna was reported to be in peril but Greenpeace is adding their case under its wing to try and resolve it in the best possible way. Price fluctuations are said to be one measure but it may take more than that to control the fishing vessels from netting them out of the water for business and food means. Hopefully these measures can be implemented unless we want to have another dilemma in our hands.

A special fishing event has been set for Sunday at the Big Cedar Lodge on Table Rock Lake. The event was made possible by Catch A Special Thrill (CAST) Foundation where they will be providing fun and thrills to children with disabilities. Each child will receive a free fishing rod reel, C.A.S.T. t-shirt, hat, tackle box and tackle to take home. All the kids will get the chance to experience how it feels to fish from a boat. And to wind up the event, the kids along with their families will be treated to a fish-fry meal together with the volunteers courtesy of Bass Pro Shops. The kids will be given a special mounted picture of themselves as a remembrance of the special activity.

If you are looking for a good fishing spot in South Australia, then good luck! Most of the fishing spots over there are dying and many people looking for a good fishing spot may as well look for one elsewhere. Many fishers have been turned away as a result of marine and national parks, beach closures and industrial progress. Unless there is a change for the good, both environmentally and politically, you are best of looking for another place to fish.

As far as fishing is concerned, you need to know how to swim. If you don’t, you may as well find yourself in a fatal mishap, the same thing that happened to this 77 year old man who drowned in a weekend boating accident. Curtis Frye was said to be fishing over the weekend before the boat capsized. His body was found a few hours after where he was pronounced dead, presumably from drowning. Combining fishing with swimming seems logical and considering that many fishermen go out in the deep blue sea, you just have to be open to accidents such as a boat tipping over.
