New Fishing Regulations Effective this March

Just in case you haven’t done so, renewing or applying for a fishing license may be something you should do before going out on another fishing trip. Licenses are required for anyone aged 16 and above when taking any fish or shellfish in California.

And with a lot of anglers expected to have expired fishing licenses, it would be best to renew them as soon as possible. Also by March, anglers no longer have to wear licenses above their waste.

Sean Goldman Wants to Fish

Sean, 9 years old, was returned to his dad in a case that went as far as reaching Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. And what is the first thing that Sean wants with his dad? Daddy Daughter Fishing Activity in Westmont

A special event called “Fishing with my Father” will be held in Westmont Park District next year. The event is open to fathers and daughters aged 3 and up where they can embark on a “fishing trip” without a lake or even a fishing pole. This is more of a relationship building event through various fishing-themes. Parents must register their children by February 5, 2010.
