A voluntary recall on Cressi Ellipse Black MC5 regulators has been announced by Cressi-sub USA after a partial obstruction of the high pressure port can lead to inaccurate reading on the pressure gauge. This inaccurate reading can pose as a drowning hazard if not addressed. There have already been 3 reports of inaccurate pressure readings. Consumers who have bought the said regulators should stop using them and return them to an authorized Cressi dive shop for free repair.
