Ice Fishing For Trout

The Jarasum January Festival will kick off on January 9 to 31 at the Jara Island in Gapyeong County, Geyonggi whose highlight is trout ice fishing. Over 10,000 visitors are expected to be on hand where three fishing locations have been created. During the festival, Gapyeong County will release 100,000 trout bought from nearby trout farms. The total cost of fish purchased amounted to $350,000.
