As in anything we do, starting with the basics is always a good foundation towards being a good angler. And for the Port St. Lucie Police Athletic League, fishing clinics are a good way to kick it all off. These clinics, taught by volunteers from the Savanna Club Fishing Club, teach knot tying, patience, and the tricks of the trade needed to catch fish. The first class was held last January 30 and the next is scheduled for March 13 at 8 a.m.
