Among the aims will be a plan to demonstrate that the sport can be diverse and that heading to the water with fishing tackle is not just a pastime for able-bodied white males.</p>
<p>This event will replace National Fishing Week and the organizers believe the longer time span will be appreciated by anglers who can enjoy a wide range of events in their local area over the course of the four weeks.</p>
